This year’s Mazda CanoeKayak Knockout event will take place on Saturday September 11th, 2010 at Ontario Place in downtown Toronto.

The Mazda Canoe Kayak Knockout is a true knockout format featuring Canada’s top elite paddlers which is brought to you by Mazda Canada in partnership with CanoeKayak Canada.

The Mazda Canoe Kayak Knockout pins the best paddlers against each other in a series of highly explosive 200 metre sprint races. Athletes race for cash and in the past three years over $50,000 in cash prizes have been awarded.

Come out and watch the top high performance athletes, National team athletes, all the way to Olympic champions as they race for the number one spot.

The Mazda Canoe Kayak Knockout began in 2007 in an attempt to increase the exposure of flat water canoe and kayak sprint racing inside Canada. As well, the KnockOut brings to Canada a unique high profile event that showcases the sport and the best Canadian paddlers.

In 2007 and 2008 the Mazda Canoe Kayak Knockout was hosted at Marilyn Bell Park along the shores of Lake Ontario in Toronto.
